Monev started it´s Camera Rentals department in 1976 as an offshoot of film production company wich divested itself of studio and camera gear and has since always supplied film makers with all the most up to date and best maintained equipment, be it 16 or 35 mm cameras and their accessories, lenses or grip equipment as dollys, cranes, remote heads and everything that goes with it. Well known in Belgium, many film people started out working for us before becoming independant, and our maintainance department has given camera technical courses to most of the film school students.

In 1986 we opened our associated rental companies in Amsterdam and Paris and then in 1993 moved to our new technical premises just outside of Brussels in Sint Pieters Leeuw and then there in 1997 built our three film studio stages, each truck accessible, well equipped, easy to use, having their own production offices and dressing rooms, and the whole complex has some 100 parkings spaces and its own restaurant.
